Sunday Happenings....

This past Sunday was our Primary Program for Sacrament Meeting. Alec had a big day that day because he also had to give the talk for Primary. It honestly surprises me that on the outside Alec seems some what shy, but to stand up in front of people and give a talk does not even phase him at all. Now Marcus is completely opposite, he doesn't seem shy, but does not like to get up and talk in front of people. It still makes me nervous that he won't give his part for the Primary Programs, he just gives it really fast!

Here is Alec's Primary Talk...

Because I am His Child, I will serve God with all my heart, might, mind, and strength…..

When we have Family home evening and say family prayers my parents always are trying to teach us how blessed we are and how much heavenly father and Jesus love us. They are teaching me the things they are blessing me with are like acts of service, so with all of my blessings I need to serve others so they can feel love from our father in heaven as well.

This past summer I was able to take care of my neighbors 2 big dogs, his yard, and his plants. when I started to do it the dogs kind of scared me, but by the time I was done I really enjoyed what I was doing. I still like to go over and play with the big dogs. When my neighbor came home and saw that his dogs were happy and his plants were still alive it made me feel happy when I saw how happy he was. After feeling so happy by serving my neighbor I saw how important it was in serving others. As I grow up I look forward to serving others and feeling love from my Heavenly father.
