Baseball 2010-{Bears}

Let's Go Bears!!!

This year Marcus started playing baseball with a traveling team, "The Bears". He is #2! It has been quite fun, but has also taking up our Saturdays for the last two months! It has really been fun to see his progression throughout the season.

It is also fun because there is quite a few players on the team that are also my friends so it gives us plenty of "mom talk" on Saturdays, we have 4 hours every Saturday to get it all out of our systems!



I have been really impressed with how well Marcus has handled all of the practices that they have. I feel like we have been pretty lucky because we have wonderful Coaches that are patient with the boys and they are taking up so much of their time to help our children get better at something that they really love!

A week or so ago after practice Marcus came home and said, "Mom, I think I'm getting really good!" I love how comfortable he is in his own skin!

Marcus' main position has been catcher. It makes me a little bit nervous, but he is doing a really good job. I am very impressed with how much he has learned throughout the season.

We have been very sad that Carson has not been able to see Marcus learn and grow during this baseball season. But we are grateful that he was able to watch the first two games one Saturday before he had to leave. Oh, Big Daddy we look forward to doing this with you next year...
