I felt very honored when a family in our ward asked me to do their wedding flowers. I was very excited and a little nervous because it has been 7 years since I worked at a flower shop. We set some tables up in my "cold" unfinished basement and I went to town! The colors were different shades of purple, white, and different shades of green. The bride didn't really care what I did, so I let me creative juices go to town! For all the centerpieces I did arrangements in fish bowls with limes cut up floating in the water. Then I did just a ton of other arrangements to set around the reception. My favorite thing was doing the mantle, I did groupings of one certain kind of flower in different sizes and then arranged them on the mantle. I loved how it turned out!
At the last minute I ended up doing the cake flowers. I was a way nervous about doing it, but I really liked the end results!

I am so grateful for my family that helped with my kids so I could do this! I also appreciate the Sandall family for trusting me to do this and for allowing me to be "apart" of their family for the day of the wedding. Congrats Mitch and Kelly! {stay tuned for Sandall wedding #2!}
