Last night when I was putting Olivia to bed out of the blue Alec asked Carson how he got mom, meaning how did we start our relationship (let's remember he is 3 1/2)! So Carson gave his side of the story which is pretty correct-that he would bring me a bug everyday for my collection and all of the sudden we like each other. At that point I came out of the room and gave my side of the story. I told him that his little friend Summer's dad and Aunt Jaime (sorry guys to bring your relationship into the story!) were boyfriend and girlfriend. Marcus inturrupted by saying, "Say daddy whattttttt?" Carson and I started laughing! I continued that Aunt Jaime was always called Simmons, so I was Little Simmons. So when Reggie and Jaime would be over to our house Carson would call to talk to Reggie and when he would go to get off he would say, "Oh give Little Simmons an extra Hi from me!" Then I told the part of the story when Carson asked me to be his girlfriend and Marcus said, "Oh this is getting weirder by the minute!" And little Alec stuck his head under the blankets with a "OHH!"
It was very funny, I think it will be funny telling past stories to the kids. We will just leave out Carson's apperance, I mean he was sooooooooooo good looking, but somethings I don't want my boys to ever have!

I love the things kids come up with. They are soo smart these days.
I can just picture those boys saying those things. They are so funny. They definitely are their father's children! I was giving Carson a talk the other day about girls (Because they now call ALL THE TIME!) and it got pretty intense, and finally he said "Mom I think this is the talk that Dad is supposed to give me not you! Lets just stop while we are ahead!" It was really funny...
