My baby girl....

A couple of days ago Olivia started to get a yucky cough probably from her brother Alec that has also been sick. After a long night last night of horrible fevers, throwing up, coughing out of control, and just not feeling well I took her to the Dr. today. My goal was to go early enough in the day that I would not end up paying for an Emergancy Room fee. I started out calling Kidscare over in Logan and they were completly full, so I just took her over to Logan to the Instacare. When I walked in it was completly packed with tons of people coughing, bleeding, broken arms, etc and the wait was 3 hours long! Are you kidding me? Why would anyone sit in a little waiting room for three hours while we all coughed and bleed on one another?!!! So my plan didn't work and we ended up at the Logan hospital's ER. I am telling you Olivia has to good of a memory and cried from the moment we got taken back to our room until we left. We actually got put in the same room we did when she got put in there this summer with pneumonia, which was very tramatic with needles and everything. This time she has RSV and her right ear is infected, but another problem is her throwing up. So she has the triple bad luck with sickness going on this time, poor girl. We are just praying for the best that during the next couple of days which are the most critical that she doesn't get worse and we can keep her out of the hospital. I can't imagine her crying for days, hours was hard enough!

I am so sorry..the worst thing to have sick babies! K this might sound so weird, but with her infected ear..something that helps with the pain and liquid is putting a peice of garlic clove in the infected ear..it draws the liquid out. Anti-biotics never help Ri with those, so we have had to try different stuff. Then just put a headband around her ear so it doesn't fall out?? I've even tried it, and it makes my ears feel so much better. Let me know, and I am so sorry, hope you all get well soon!!
