A fun night out on the town!

Friday we decided to take the kids and go play lots! Our little families schedule is changing, so for awhile we will not see Carson as much, so we decided we wanted to make the best of one of our last days together a blast for the kids! We started out eating at Sizzler, one of the kids favorite places to go. Then we went to Borders because I needed a couple of books, but the kids enjoyed finding something for themselves as well. Then we headed off to the Family Fun Park where we played and played! I ended up at the very top with Olivia on the Soft Play and lets just say I can't believe kids aren't afraid to be that high up. The only probably was Olivia freaked out to go down the slide so we had to climb all the way back down! Marcus and I raced cars and I was horrible, I can't even tell you how many times I jumped my car down and over pass!! Last but not least we went to Walmart to do a little grocery shopping. Carson had given the boys some extra things to do this week and told them if they got them done then he would buy them a prize. So Marcus picked out a remote control car and Alec any guesses? He picked out one of those little couches that turns into a little bed with Spider Man all over it. While shopping Olivia and I went one direction and the boys went another and while we were gone I had a very tragic thing happen that has never happened in nearly 5 1/2 years of being a mother. Olivia did a front flip out of the cart and landed right on her back. Very scary!! Luckily she had one her big puffy coat, I honestlly believe that helped her fall. She didn't get one mark on her body, amazing! Here are some pictures of our night, enjoy!

Don't worry it is only a slush, but man she loved it! She was walking around with it tucked under her arm, people couldn't stop laughing at her!

That looks like a lot of fun. I've never been there, I'll have to take the kids sometime.

Hey Courtney, its Ashley Bailey. (Reese). I saw your blog through Krista's and I love checking it out. Your kids are so beautiful. The stories you tell about them make me laugh. They are just so cute. We have an Olivia too, and yours reminds me a lot of mine!

Yes i hope 6 is better than 5! I have really struggled with her latley, I thought maybe it was because she wasnt the only child anymore, but I feel like everything is a fight with her! And she wants to be in control of every situation. I haven't had her complain about Acen at all, but I dunno it sure has been a tuff year for her! Hopefully it's just an age thing and not something that is forever!

Courtney! Thanks so much for your comment. My husband said "I bet you secretly wanted someone to tell you to keep sleeping with Sadie." :) In a way I did. I love sleeping with her, I have just heard so many negative things about it. And letting her cry for even a second just breaks my heart. Your comment just made my day and I guess I am happy to know I am not the "only one" that has there baby sleep with them. Oh, and I was laughing so hard about what you said at the end of your post. You are absolutely right!! And I so need to get some headbands from you, as soon as I get my girls spring clothes coming.
p.s Your family is adorable, I just want to kiss Olivia's cheeks.

I think that it sounds like an awesome time with kids. I always have a tough time planning things that both of my kids will like, but this idea just might work.

Ha Ha very funny..no I do not wear my teddy to cook in! Maybe if I looked like I did before I had kids, but not so much now! Ya I will have to check out your recipe blog, I have a few good things! That recipe i posted is super easy and super good! I don't put onion in mine but I put cheese and fritos on it (gotta have the cheese!)

Your kids are darling! I can't believe how big Olivia has gotten. Sounds like you guys had a fun outing...minus the falling out of the cart. Dyson did that once when he was about her age, except he got a bad bloody nose out of both nostrils. It was sad.

What fun pictures and it looked like such a fun time! It was fun to catch up and talk the other day. P.S. just in case how do you take the squeak out of their shoes?

Hey!! Looks like tons of fun!! River is always asking to go to the fun park. I love to take them there, but it isn't exactly Chris's favorite place to go!! That is awful about Oliva, one of those things you wish you could go back and redo. Have a great weekend!!
