Marucs' Field Trip....

On Tuesday of last week I was able to go with Marcus on his field trip (thanks to Molly who watched Olivia and Jen who let Alec come over and play with Kaydence). We had such a fun time, I love watching Marcus interact with his friends. It made me feel good when most of the little kids wanted to ride with Marucs, I like to see that Marucs has treated everyone nice so that he is well liked. (I don't ever want to be the one that has the child who isn't nice to everyone, so it is a rule that he can't ever exclude anyone!) We started off at a local dairy farm, it smelled delightful, but it was fun to see the kids get excited. They even got to feed the calves! It was one of those things that you can't think about the germs and just be thankful you have hand cleaner in your purse!! Next we went to my mom's work to see how they make garage doors. The kids thought that was great and us adults that it was very interesting, things you don't really think about that make a garage door work! Last we went to the Doctors office where one little girls Mom works at and one little girls Grandma works at. That was lots of fun, they had little sacks with lots of Doctor items in it. The weighed them, measured their height, checked their pulse and their temperature. They showed them were you get casts and how they cut them off! I didn't realize that the saw that cuts off the cast won't cut though skin, me being so smart just thought that they are extra careful! It ended at the park with a picnic and letting the kids play. One fun thing about field trips is when he get to visit with all the other parents!

There is some major conversation going on here!

The fun thing with it ending at the park was Alec was starting at the park to play and have a picnic lunch with his school. I felt so bad because when Alec came over his eyes were watering so bad like he had horrible allergies. He wanted to stay and play so I let him, but when I went to pick him up and hour later he got in the van exhausted and he feel asleep between school and home (which is about 15 blocks aways). I took him in the house and took his temperature and it was between 102 and 103, so I don't know what he had, but he was down for the rest of the day.

Alec and his class at the park for lunch.

Besides Alec getting sick, it was a wonderful day!
