Yesterday Carson had to go into work, so I was getting everyone ready to go Church making sure I was early and not late because I had some things to take care of. I had all the kids ready, made sure there was no chocolate for Olivia to spill on her pink Easter dress and all I had to do was try and fix second day hair on me! Thinking how smooth that day had gone knowing that I was going to be on time all you know what broke loose! Olivia started to cry with the most intense cry, you know it was different from her not getting her way or the boys teasing her, so I took of running. The boys were also running to me to tell me Olivia fell and hit her head on the entertainment center. So I pick her up trying to look and see where it was that she got hurt when all of the sudden (sorry to be graphic) I see all this blood starting to come out of her mouth. Now I was holding her trying to calm her down, but my first instinct was to cup my hand under her chin and yell for a towel so we didn't get blood on her dress. {side note: that was successful, no blood got on her dress!} At that point I also was looking in her mouth which I couldn't really see anything because there was so much blood. In the mean time Marcus is calling Molly so I could get some help. I finally was able to see that she had cut her mouth a couple of times and one didn't look so hot. So my mom came to get the stuff I needed to be doing at church and took the boys with her, then my dad and Molly came and they took me out to the hospital to see if she needed to have stitches. After Marcus had to get stitches in his mouth, I don't know when one is bad and one isn't. So the nurse looked in her mouth and said it would be fine. Her mouth swelled up really quickly so I thought it was not going to be a pretty sight, but after sleeping for 3 hours it actually looked pretty good. Phew, we made it! My poor baby girl!
Now on a funny note....
Last night we were eating popsicles for a little treat when Alec wanted another one. Since he has been having tummy troubles when he eats sugar we told him not tonight, but you see he really wanted that purple one! Today he took off running in his bedroom like he was in a hurry or something when I said Alec what are you doing? He told me just getting something from my Super Hero box, then he said oh no it is dripping! Marcus ran in there and said, "mom he has purple popsicle dripping all over the carpet! I went in there to check out what was going on when he told me dad said he could have it later, so he stuck it in his superhero box to save it! Honestly that superhero box has a little bit of everything in it. After eating crab legs the other day he wanted to take one home and he would just put it in his superhero box! What a kid!

I am glad Olivia was okay. I can't even count how many times jarrett has hurt his mouth. Luckily nothing has been serious.
That is sooo sad. I'm glad she is doing okay!
Hey Courtney...you are more than welcome to add me to your list. I don't know how to do that but when i do figure it out, would you mind if I added you. I love looking at others blogs and their creativity. I have checked out your baby store, I love baby legs. We are actually coming home in August do you have things to sell at your home? Let me know your email address I would love to keep in touch. My Jaden is giving me headaches, I had to take Ragen to the doc. today and my Ped. told me to come in for a behavioral consult! I'm going to take her up on the offer because I have been feeling like my kids are taking over and i have no control. I'll let you know what she teaches me!! Have a good day. You're family is darling! Take care--Jacki
Poor little Olivia. I hate the not knowing part of what's serious and what's not. Glad the dress was spared!
