My 18 Month Old Princess...

Yes it is true, Olivia is 18 months old! I am honestly wondering where in the world time has gone? Carson, is still shocked that he has a little girl, let alone an 18 month old "Miss Bossy Princess"! What a blessing she is in our lives, she brings so much joy and happiness in our home each day.

During the last 18 months she has grown in many different ways....

*her hair continues to grow and the curls continue to get bigger

*her big brown eyes get bigger while her eye lashes grow longer

*while pouting her eyebrows drupe further down (she got this from her dad)

*her determination grows each day while she stands for what she wants and how she is going to get it (hmm, I wonder where she gets that?!)

*she gets more independent while being around people she knows and more attached to her mommy and daddy around people she doesn't (for this reason there will probably not be any first day of nursery pictures for quite some time!)

As you can tell she is becoming quite the little girl with quite the personality! She doesn't say a lot of words, but with her huh's, pointing, and her expressions people do know what she is telling you!

This is her vocabulary...

*mom, mommy, mommas

*dad, daddy

*"b"(blanket)

*babies

*pretties

*I (when doing I love you)

But we know when she....

*needs a drink

*needs a treat

*needs food

*needs to go outside

*needs to hold Hudson

*when her brothers are being less then fair to her

*where she wants to go and who she wants to go with her

*wants to sing a certain song (her favorites itsy bitsy spider, patty cake, twinkle twinkle little star)

The list could go on and on. She may be a little girl with few understandable words, but a very determined girl who isn't going to let that get in her way! I guess I was the same way, so I am told not to be worried, because we know that didn't affect me long term! A little funny story- The other day when we were at the Doctor the nurse gave her a sucker. While we were waiting for the Doctor out in the hall we could see the nurses office (the one who gave her a sucker). As another nurse came walking down the hall she was talking to Olivia about her and her sucker so Olivia started jabbering too her motioning for her to follow while she went into the nurses office pointed to the nurse who gave her a sucker and finished jabbering too her. The nurse looked at me in shock that she just told her who gave her a sucker.

She loves to eat pretty much anything that you feed her, she is honestly the best eater! We do have to be careful because there are many things that will gag her or just not settle well and she will throw up! She loves reading stories and playing with her babies and little people. She loves dancing around the house, man you should see her moves! Her most favorite movie is Baby Einsteins "On the Farm". Oh, and we can't forget how much she loves her Hudson doggy! But I think like any other little kid they would live outside if she could!

She has caused many medical bills with many different things, but she is worth it in every way. I honestly didn't think life could get any better with my two little boys, but I have realized that she has brought a sweetness in our home that is amazing. I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to raise both sexes to see the ways boys and girls bring different peace, happiness, love, and excitement to our home.

Happy 18 months old Olivia!

She is so cute--I can't believe she's 18 months already. I'm excited that Carson is playing on the softball team--you'll have to go to the games (if they aren't too late) so that we can hang out.

What a sweet girl! I think 18 months is such a great time. Ainsley says something new and does something new each day. Time goes by so much faster with kids.

She is such a doll! Do all girls call girly things pretties??! Those are Halli's favorite things and she also calls them her pretties. I really like how you keep kind of a diary of what your kids do and say so I had to do the same. I write stuff down but never do anything with it! Hope you don't mind! Talk to ya soon! Jacki
