Marcus' Eye

{May 7-17} A little out of order!These pictures are not giving you the whole affect of his eye!

Like I said back in my Mother's Day post Marcus got a swollen eye. Well on Mother's Day when he woke up it was swollen shut, as the day went on it didn't get completely better but it looked lots better then the first of the day. At first I just thought he must have irritated it a little, but it will be better by Monday. Well he woke up Monday and it was bigger then on Sunday and it started going a pinkish red color. That morning I took him to the eye Doctor where the determined he had an infection in his eyelid. They gave us some antibiotics that we had to use three times a day for seven days that was a jelly type stuff that I had to put in his eye. Oh it pained me every time I had to do it. Once again by the time he went to bed Monday it looked pretty good and then when he got up on Tuesday it was bigger (Carson said it looked like a golf ball under his eyelid) and this time it was going a little purple along with the pinkish/red color. So he missed a couple of days of school, by Wed. the start of the morning he could at least see out of it. The swelling really didn't go completly away until the Sunday after it happened. Glad it is over, that was crazy!
