Spring Soccer Season....

This year we have both boys playing in soccer, but they are on different teams. On a normal week we have had 3 soccer games a week, but because of all of the rain we have had about 4-5 games a week! I am glad the boys have enjoyed playing soccer and that we have enjoyed watching, but with all of this crazy weather I am looking forward to it being over.

This year was Alec's first year! I can't believe my little guy is big enough to play team sports. He is a little bit more reserved then Marcus, so I was a little bit worried about him, but he is also very natural at sports. So the very first game came and it was the very first play of the game and her ran a picked up the ball. He was so embarrassed that he would barely run with the kids the next two games! Now he is getting more into it, so he in enjoying playing goalie and running to kick the ball. He has made a couple of goals and has also came close a couple of times. It is so cute when he does something really good, he stops and makes sure I saw him and then he will continue on his way. What a cute kid!

Marcus is also playing soccer, this his is third season. What a difference a year makes! He is getting really good, he loves it! I can't believe how aggressive he has gotten and how he is not afraid to get in their and get the ball away from the other kids. One game he got 6 goals! He was pretty excited. There is nothing better then seeing your child confident in something he does. I just love watching his joy and excitement for the sport!
