Boiled Eggs
You first put hot water in a metal bowl. And then you put the egg in and you cook it for 3 or 10 hours. Then you take it off the stove. Then you let it cool off in the fridge. Then you put in the microwave and heat it up a little. Then you eat them. If you want to make more, just do it all over again. And when it's Easter you can color them.

Have a mentioned the simpleness of children?!!!
I think Olivia felt a little left out that she didn't make me anything so for the rest of the morning she kept bringing me her toys for my "birthday"!
Then all three of them made a mess of the craft closet while they used their little imaginations to cut things out of paper and make objects out of pipe cleaners. It was a Mother's Day that was very simple, but very wonderful!
I love being a mom and I love my mom for being an example to me. Olivia has a little teeny tiny birth mark on the side of her nose and my mom recently has told her it is from Jesus kissing her right before she came to Earth. My mom has told me she has told her that before, but I kind of forgot and last night she was looking at a picture of Jesus and she said Jesus kiss my nose! Carson looked at me and then I told him the story. It kinda makes you get tears in your eyes because you really know he did that. I love that about my mom! She can make special stories up with each on of my kids. Is motherhood exactly what I imagined? I don't think so, in many ways it is better and in some ways it is a lot harder!!! But it is something that I would not trade for the world, it is my greatest blessing that I have been given. That blessing wouldn't have came with my other greatest blessing, Carson. How grateful I am that we can do this together. How grateful I am that he made yesterday special for me! How grateful I am that we can even each other out! How grateful I am that he has been apart of me becoming a mom. I love my family so much. We are not a perfect family, but we are a family that keeps on trying and I think that is all that matters!
On Saturday Carson and I took the kids to one of our favorite places to eat Sonoara Grill. During the whole dinner and the rest of the night we could not stop talking about how big our kids are getting and how good they were. I love that we can go out to eat and enjoy a night together where we are able to eat and enjoy ourselves. They were such great eaters, so good that we even got dessert!!! Once again I love seeing the faces light up on the little things of life....

Here are my cute kids before going to church on Mother's Day Sunday. Only Carson and the two little ones went because Marcus' eye was swollen shut!
The pictures do not give his eye justice. We are not sure what has happened to it. It started out one day a little goopy, the next day a little swollen, and then on Sunday completely shut! Oh, and....
We must not forget Marcus got his hair bleached! He has been wanting it done so bad, so the other day when he went to get his hair cut he asked me if he could do it and I said sure! I think he was shocked, but I figured it is only hair and it is summer it will go light anyways! He loves it, he thinks he is pretty hot stuff. The whole time he was getting it done and the rest of the day until Carson got home he kept saying, "my dad is going to kill me!"
