{May 21, 2009} Marcus has graduated from Kindergarten! I can't believe this year is already over. Once your kids are in school you realize how fast time really does go by. He had a wonderful year, but I think he is very excited to be in 1st grade and eat lunch!!
His graduation was very cute showing us all the songs that they have learned this year. It is so fun to see how much Marcus gets into the actions when he is singing his songs. After singing the Principal announced each child's name and then once they were all standing there with their caps on she announced the Class of 2021. I had an aging moment flash right before my eyes! I can't believe he graduates in 2021, that seems like ages away, but when it is here I am going to be old!!!!

It was at 9:30 in the morning so Carson wasn't able to come, but he was able to hear all the songs when he got home. Marcus put on a little show for him!

Marcus and Josh! Josh's dad was nice enough to pick Marcus up nearly everyday this year. Once it got warm the boys rode their bikes to school. We got very lucky to have such good friends move in right behind us!
Marcus we are so proud of you! We are so proud of the little man that you are. You have learned so much this year. I loved stopping by your school and watching how many kids would talk to you or say hi to you, it makes me happy to know you are learning to be nice to everyone. I look forward to watching your excitement as you go into 1st grade, meeting new friends, eating lunch, and learning many more new things. Thanks Marcus for being such a great kid!
